IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Stacy Lenora
Hawkins
December 5, 1963 – August 13, 2023
Stacy Lenora Hawkins peacefully went to her heavenly home on Sunday, August 13, 2023, which is appropriate because she hated missing church. She's now enjoying the ultimate worship service with her Lord and Savior Jesus. Stacy was born December 5, 1963, the blond headed baby girl of Dolan Hawkins and Lyndia Medley. She is preceded in death by her two sons, Francisco ( born Izzy Francisco Reyes) Medley and James (born James Richard Gene Reyes) Medley. Stacy loved her boys fiercely and was so looking forward to their reunion in heaven.
Stacy is survived by mother, Lyndia Medley of Little Rock, Arkansas who has been lovingly cared for by Stacy for the last 4 years; father, Dolan (Shirley) Hawkins of Springfield, MO; sisters, Kimberly (Wayne) Swigut of New York and Jennifer (Owen) White of Little Rock, AR; stepsister, Tammy (Kirk) Watson of Springfield, MO; stepbrother, Ed (Becky) Spain of Springfield, MO; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends and "adopted family" who will miss her dearly.
Stacy lived in various places in Arkansas, Missouri, Georgia, Oklahoma, and until recently Alaska where she thrived, attending college at the University of Alaska Anchorage earning membership into the Delta Pi International Honor Society. She was embraced by King's Way Assembly of God and later, The Crossing Alaska churches. Stacy was active in prison ministry, having been there once herself she knew the power of Christ to change lives. Stacy started her own charity supplying much needed household goods and groceries to newly released prisoners until taking on the full time care of her mother. Stacy reluctantly took early medical retirement from the job (and coworkers) she loved at the Bureau of Land Management in Anchorage AK. She wanted everyone to know, you are loved, it is never too late, there is no sin too great to be forgiven thanks to the wonderful, abundant grace of God.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cremation Services of Arkansas (501) 313-5431.
