Steven Marvin Stewmeat Steward went to ride with the angels and his brothers and sisters gone before him on October 29th 2025. He was at his home in Thornburg, Arkansas with his soulmate and best friend at his side.  Steve lived his life with dignity, and freedom. He was a very proud father and grandfather.

Steve left behind his best friend, Betty Steward; son, Jacob Steward, and his wife, Sarah and grandchildren, of Maumelle; his daughter, Dixie Steward of Tennessee; a multitude of friends, Steve was a carpenter by trade, but excelled in many talents. He was an avid gardener,  always growing something green to improve the environment.

All who knew him and loved him are welcomed to join his family 1:00 p.m. November 8, 2025 at Antioch Baptist church 1936 AR 216 Houston, Arkansas. Anyone who wants to send flowers please send them to Antioch Baptist Church.  The family would like to extend their appreciation to the following;  Baptist hospice, Betty Steward,  Kimberly Swope, Melissa McCallister, Jean Tomasek, James Harrison,  John Bradford,  " Nub", Travis Barber and  Tasha,  Theila Doughty, Jimmy Allen Doughty, Jimmy Daniels, Ashton, and Al  Capone for making Steve's happy and comfortable in his last weeks.
