Steven Lee Maugans 66, of DeWitt passed away on November 9, 2021. He was born on November 23, 1954 to Hampton and Nina Maugans. Steven was a member of Unity Baptist Church. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Katherine Terry; brother, Roger Maugans.

Steven leaves his love of his life, Connie Watkins of Almyra; sisters, Anita Beth Stam of Tichnor and Wray Ann (Wally) Dempsey of East End; nephew, Brian (Ekko) Greenhill of Tichnor; two nieces Ja (Brad)Chambless of DeWitt and Jo Greenhill of Little Rock; two special grandchildren;  very special friends, Johnny and Lisa Howe.

Steven loved helping on the farms and hunting. One of his favorite places to relax was at Fischer Camp with his buddies. There will be a Memorial Service celebrating Steve's Life on December 4 ^th , 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Thompson Cemetery Memorials may be made to Thompson Cemetery Atten: Joshua Wright 3166 Hwy 165 S.
