Susan M. Calhoon, age 83, passed away November 13 ^th , 2021, in Little Rock, AR. She was born June 28, 1938, in Arlington, TX, the daughter of the late John and Eleanor Murchison. She is survived by her two daughters, Mary K. Fiala and Melanie C. Fiala, and her son John C. Fiala and his wife, Karen J. Roberts and their sons Alexander and Andrew. She was married to Charles R. Calhoon for 40 years until he passed away several years earlier from Parkinson's disease.

She was an active member of Trinity Presbyterian Church where she contributed generously to the church, its members, missions, and the greater community. She was an English teacher in Puerto Rico and Louisiana before moving to Arkansas to continue her artwork in painting and pottery and talents as a musician. Susan, a big animal lover and a sailor, was a loving wife and mother and will remain in the hearts of those who knew her. Susan had a good sense of humor always tried to make the best of life.
