Suzanne Mary Bailey

Born in Jackson, Michigan on August 26, 1958. Graduated in 1976 from Columbia High School in Brooklyn, MI. Graduated from Bethany Nazarene College in Lawton, OK with a BS in Recreation.

Sue was always full of energy. As a child she channeled this energy into any form of competition she could participate in – whether that was every sport at school (especially gymnastics) or a sibling rivalry. As an adult, this fiercely competitive nature was channeled into doing the most for those around her – collecting the most cans for a food drive, donating the most dog food, or giving away most of her own personal items to neighbors.

Although the last few years of Sue's life were simple, they were full of love: love for her family, love for helping others, and above all love for her Savior Jesus. We are grateful for the life she lived and for the hope we have, knowing she is finally at peace in the arms of her Lord.

Sue is survived by her son Roger Decker, Jr. and his wife Amy of Little Rock, AR. She had four sisters, of which two survive: Linda Miles (and Jim) of Little Rock, AR, and Diane Barnes (and Ken) of St. Paul, MN. She is also survived by her parents, Jerry and Betty Witham of Grass Lake, MI.

Preceded in death by her two sisters: Sandy Smith and Dawn Anderson.

A memorial service will be held at Mosaic Church of Conway on Sat, March 2nd at 11am. The family is asking that if any wish to, they can make a donation to Birch Tree of Benton, AR in Sue's name.
