Thomas Calvin Chapman Sr., 74 of Woodlawn passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at his home.  He was born on July 19, 1946 in Tarry, Louisiana to Sadie Baker and Earnest L.Chapman.  Mr Chapman was preceded in death by his parents, Sadie Baker Ferguson and Earnest Chapman; daughter, Tamie Lynn Chapman McKinley; brother, Dennis Leroy Chapman; step-father, Troy Ferguson.  He served his country in the United States Navy for 4 years, the United States Air Force for 3 years and was a Vietnam Veteran.

Mr. Chapman loved being outside on his tractor fixing the roads, digging a pond for his ducks, driving the back roads, watching birds eating seeds on his porch, fishing at the river and watching the Razorbacks football and basketball games.

He is survived by sons, Thomas Chapman Jr. (Theresa),  Jason Chapman; six grandchildren, Cody, Tiffany, Zach, Kera, Courtney and Makayla, Brayden; eight great grandchildren; siblings, Marie McGriff (Bill), Carolyn Shipman (James), Larry Chapman; sister-in-law, Lori Chapman.

A memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2021  at Hickory Grove Cemetery on Highway 11 outside of Star City, Arkansas.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cremation Services of Arkansas (501)313-5431.
