Thomas Michael Nordengren Sr., age 91 of Little Rock, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019 in Little Rock. He was born February 13, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Michael Thomas and Veronica Gorzywki Nordengren. Mr. Nordengren served in the U.S. Army during the Korea War. On June 16, 1951, he married Patricia Helmer in Chicago. He worked for 34 years with the Teletype Corporation as an Assistant Production Manager until retiring in 1981. Mr. Nordengren was a faithful member of Westover Hills Presbyterian Church in Little Rock and belonged to the Lifetime Teletype Pioneer organization.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia of the home; two sons, Thomas Michael Nordengren Jr. of Alexander, Arkansas and James Austin Nordengren of Benton, Arkansas; two daughters, Cheryl Lynn Laster of Bella Vista, Arkansas and Debra Ann Wilson of North Little Rock, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Gerald Nordengren of West Chicago, Illinois and Robert Nordengren of Davenport, Florida.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Westover Hills Presbyterian Church.Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cremation Services of Arkansas. (501) 313-5431.
