Timothy Alan Self age 63 of Benton passed away Monday, December 19, 2022 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock.  He was born on December 26, 1958 in Gadsden, Alabama to Nancy Buffington and James Self.  Tim grew up in Alabama and Cleveland, Mississippi.  He attended Bayou Academy where he received an A.S. Degree from Mississippi Delta Community College.  Tim was preceded in death by father, James Self; brother, Michael Self.

He is survived by life partner, George Johnson of Benton, Arkansas; mother, Nancy Self of Gainesville, Georgia; brother, Randall Self of Berlin, Germany; sisters, Sharon (Paul) Murphree of Round Rock, Texas,  Celia (Dean) Newton of Dahlonega, Georgia and Alison Holland of Murrayville, Georgia; special friends, Nicole and Jerry Richards, Kelly and Colleen Caldwell, Chris and Denise Higgins, Bert and Sharon James, Ryan Carroll and staff at Baptist Hospice.

A celebration of Tim's life will be held at a later time.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cremation Services of Arkansas (501)313-5431.
