Tommy Ray "Pumpkin" Goodnight Sr

Tommy R Goodnight Sr, 80, died Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Chi St Vincents in Little Rock Arkansas with the love of his life, Brenda Goodnight by his side. He was born July 22, 1942 in Reydell Arkansas, the son of Virgle H. And Olzy (York) Goodnight.  Tommy was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

Tommy was an avid outdoorsman that made his living by farming in his early years and then owning and operating chicken farms with his wife, sons, and grandkids till his death. Tommy enjoyed hunting anything and everything, but his favorite game was deer. Some of Pumpkin's favorite things were taking his grandkids hunting, riding around on his four wheeler, and spending hours at Ratterree pawn shop talking everyone's heads off.

Tommy is survived by wife, Brenda Lou (Luker) Goodnight of Star City; mother-in-law, Alma Luker of Dumas; two sons, Tommy Ray Goodnight Jr of Star City and Virgle H Goodnight Sr and wife Stacie of Star City; seven grandchildren, Summer Goodnight Beliew and husband Gavin of Dewitt, Autumn Goodnight of Star City, Shelby Goodnight of Star City, Virgle "Bubba" Goodnight Jr of Star City, Alysia Goodnight of Star City, Aggie Beth Whitehead of Star City, Collin Ray Goodnight of Star City; great grandchild, Kinzley Marie Rice of Star City.

A memorial will be held at a later date for close family and friends.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cremation Services of Arkansas (501)313-5431.
