On September 15, 2021,Tony passed away from this life and went to be with God, our father. He was born on September 12, 1949 in Monette, Arkansas to Ruby and Alfred Johnson. Tony was preceded in death by parents; sister, Jo Marley; brother, Bobby Johnson.

He is survived by wife, Irene Johnson; sisters, Glenda Carr and Phyliss Wooten; a host of cousins, neices, nephews.

Tony had an active life. He enjoyed running and socializing with others. Tony worked hard throughout this life. He was a minister. Tony worked at NCTR in Jefferson, Arkansas. He owned his own heat and air company at one point in his life. He drove a school bus for Little Rock School District for twelve years. He went back to school at University of Arkansas at Little Rock to earn his bachelor degree in criminal justice. Due to a bad back, he retired at the age of 62. Tony enjoyed his life with family and friends.
