William Scott Chandler- all knew him as Scott, age 68 of Alexander, AR passed away Monday, November 27, 2023, at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock.  He was born on January 29, 1955, in Michigan to William Kenner Chandler and Louise Arlene Jacobus.  William was preceded in death by both his parents.

My father joined the Marine Corps- and enlisted as infantry.  Once separated from the military, his passion was working in the Press- for various newspapers.  Although, this job is more for a younger generation, his knowledge was amazing and he never skipped a beat.  His peers spoke very highly of him and stated that he was very hard worker and will be missed by all.

Having some Cherokee decent, he believed that he wanted to soar like the eagles did- be free and feel the wind on his face… that was his wishes when he passed- cremated and spread across the Mogollon Rim in AZ- to fly like the eagles.  He loved his birds, his bikes, his career, family and friends… and would literally give the shirt off his back for anyone.

He is survived by daughter, Jessica Chandler of Coolidge, Arizona, as well as his granddaughter, Clarissa, and great grandson- just born 11/13/23- Cairo.  I know he loved us very much.  Never doubted that.  He always told me to look to the angels.  Well, dad, now you are one.  Please always walk with me.
