William R. "$Bill" Stribling was born December 15, 1947, at Atlanta, Georgia, the only child of Sam and Ethel C. "Snookie" Stribling. He died December 15, 2017, at the VA Medical Center in Little Rock. He was a USAF veteran and served two tours of duty in Vietnam as a crew chief on a C-130. He was a carpenter and millwright before his retirement. He is a former member of the Arkansas Flyfishers.

Survivors are cousins Terry, Tony and Christina Yanessa of Jackson, Tennessee; Judy Larson of Florida; Gary Ostrem of California; and Joe, Marty and Tim Clements of Jackson. He is also survived by his former wife, Linda K. House of Little Rock.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in his hometown of Jackson, Tennessee. Cremation arrangements are by Cremation Services of Arkansas (501)313-5431.
